Divorce is a tough thing to go through, but being married is even tougher some days. For me, marriage means weight gain and divorce means weight loss. Sad, but true. Neither husband supported my need to exercise regularly, so I didn’t so that I could meet their needs. Bad mistake. Last time for me. I have a lot of weight to lose and a daughter who truly needs me to lose it. I may never fit into my prom dress again, but I was unfit and way to thin then, but I do want to be able to take my daughter for grand outdoor adventure without sucking wind 10 minutes into the exercise. This time I am divording the extra weight; the baggage I have been carrying around nearly 20 years. This time is for me.

My goals are: To be a role model for my children. To show them it’s not about thin, it’s about fit.
